I love it when Cool Friend Sarah wears something awesome to work (and not just because it means I’m off the hook for OOTRT). This high-necked, long-sleeved, bordeaux romper (paired with heeled booties!) is giving me Victorian Rebel vibes, like if suffragettes wore less white and more satiny one-piece shirt-short combos in which it is virtually impossible to use the restroom.
(No, I’m not bitter about having a long torso and thus not being able to wear rompers. Not bitter at all.)
– Is there a fashion style you wish you could pull off, but can’t/won’t/don’t for some reason?
– If we lived in a universe in which fashion was Hunger-Games-Capitol-level expressive/outlandish/awesome, and you could borrow style influences from any era, what would you go with? I think I’d go with Subversive Grace Kelly, Madame de Pompadour Courtier Pirate, or First-Bustle-Era Assassin. (Probably the latter.)
